IEEE projects are a great opportunity to get hands-on project experience while applying theory and skills learned in the classroom. Our projects provide the kind of experience that employers and grad school admissions committees are looking for. While GPA will get you an interview, project experience will get you the job.

The music department has openings in the Music 87 seminar "Beauty in Operatic Madness." It's a freshman seminar, but they are allowing other students to enroll as well. This seminar explores madness as portrayed in European opera, Japanese kabuki, and Chinese kunqu. Mad scenes often allow singers creative freedom in realizing their characters' insanity. What makes a performance chillingly brilliant? This seminar develops attention to interpretive detail.
