Demand for graduates continues to be high due to the severe shortage of well-trained doctoral graduates in management. The AACSB estimates the U.S. shortage of business Ph.D.s to be 1,000 in five years and nearly 2,500 in 10 years. Numerous international business schools are also in the market for U.S.-educated business Ph.D.s.
