Jacobs School Naming Contest

We need your help!

We are looking to the Jacobs School faculty, staff & students to help us name a new annual giving society. We want the name to have prestige, be fun & innovative and one that will represent the entire scope of the Jacobs School departments & programs.

This new giving society will fill a much-needed gap in our efforts to increase the participation rate & level of giving from alumni & the greater Jacobs School community.

Please send your suggestions to Heidi Wienckowski at hwienckowski@ucsd.edu, (858) 822-4868. We need all submissions in by October 16, 2009. The winner of the Naming Contest will receive a $100 gift card from the UCSD Book Store. Below are a few examples of names suggested in the past, but we want something new and fresh:

Golden Calculator Society
Golden Slide Rule Society
Engineers for Excellence Society
