Prized Programmers
Three CSE students are headed to Hawaii for the March 23rd world finals
of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. (Pictured
l to r) Graduate student Jeremy Lau, and undergraduates Stefan Schoenmackers
and Matthew Fedder took first prize in the Southwest U.S. regional finals
last November, giving the Jacobs School its first ever win in the annual
event. Coach and Professor Brad Calder organizes an intra-UCSD competition
each fall to select teams to compete at the regional level.
