Scholarships/Fellowships

For high achieving undergraduate and graduate students, scholarships and fellowships help bridge the gap between college expenses and financial aid. This support can also be the deciding factor in whether some students attend our university. You can ensure that UCSD and the Jacobs School continue to attract and support promising students and future innovators by establishing an endowed scholarship or fellowship that will exist in perpetuity. For more information about how you can assist promising future engineers, contact Kelly Briggs, Director of Development, at (858) 534-2329 or kbriggs@ucsd.edu.

We invite you to support these special giving opportunities:

Dean's Challenge: Alumni Fellowships

Dean's Challenge: Alumni Fellowships

Through December 2008, Dean Frieder Seible will match $1 to every $3 raised from our alumni (the 1:3 match) to create fellowships for graduate students. These gifts (to the department of your choice) will be pooled to create Alumni Fellowships in the amount of $35,000 each. Through your generosity, Alumni Fellowships raised through this matching challenge program will be awarded to deserving graduate students entering the UCSD Jacobs School of Engineering in Fall 2009.
