The Jacobs School Scholars program enables the most promising undergraduate and graduate students to choose UCSD over private institutions, and the most talented faculty to expand their research and education initiatives.

The Jacobs School Distinguished Scholar program enables the Jacobs School to attract and retain the best engineering faculty. By providing a steady stream of innovation funds, faculty members can set up research labs, pursue early-stage research, and enhance the education and training of our students.

 

Ken Bowles Scholarship

Learn how the UCSD Pascal project changed the computing industry.

Once funding is complete, this four-year scholarship – named in honor of Professor Emeritus Kenneth Bowles and his leadership of the UCSD PASCAL project – will support a deserving Jacobs School student majoring in computer science.
