Board Member Biography: Nien-Tsu Shen Ph.D.

Nien-Tsu Shen Ph.D. Vice President of Quality Skyworks Solutions, Inc.

Dr. Shen is Vice President of Quality at Skyworks Solutions Inc, a leading mobile communications semiconductor company. She has twenty years of experience in the semiconductor industry. She joined Skyworks from Conexant where she was Vice President of Quality. Prior to Conexant, she worked for National Semiconductor Corp. as a Director in the Quality organization responsible for reliability, failure analysis, manufacturing quality, and quality support to the Analog Product Division. Prior to National, she was Vice President of Quality at MicroModule Systems, a Silicon Valley start-up company specializing in the thin film interconnect technology and multi-chip modules. Before she started her career in the semiconductor industry, Nien-Tsu was an Assistant Professor at Rider College in New Jersey. She also taught mathematics at University of California-Davis.

Nien-Tsu received a doctorate in mathematics from Purdue University, a master's of science degree in mathematics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and a bachelor's of science degree in mathematics from the National Taiwan University in Taipei.
