From 1975-1979 Jeff was an Assistant Professor of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University of Missouri, helping to launch and accredit a new Engineering School on the Kansas City campus. From 1979 - 2000, Jeff held a series of positions with Structural Dynamics Research Corporation: from Project Engineer, to Project Manager, to Director of Engineering, to Worldwide Director of Training & Best Practices. He played a leadership role in the successful spin-off of the Advanced Test & Analysis Division of SDRC to form ATA Engineering in April, 2000.
Jeff earned his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. He received his M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His technical specialization was in Dynamic Systems and Controls for all degrees.
