Position Title: Technical Rotation Program

Mitchell?s Technical Rotation Program is a regular full time opportunity with three 9 month rotations in our technical landscape to develop your skills within software engineering, quality assurance and project management or business analyst. The Mitchell rotation program was designed to fast-track your career here at Mitchell as well as gain an overview of our products and the roles within that help create and develop the leading information and workflow solutions to the Property & Casualty Claims and Automotive collision repair industries.
Within this role you will be exposed to impactful assignments, gain hands on training within Software development, quality assurance, project management as well as have a group of managers and mentors who will additionally contribute to leadership training. During your final rotation you will be able to apply for your next role at Mitchell which aligns with your new skills and areas of interest.
Mitchell Technical Rotation Program Lifecycle
The rotations will be nine months and are based on a combination of Mitchell?s current product objectives, specific departmental needs, technical qualifications (coursework and degree). Once a rotation is complete there will be a presentation discussing projects completed and technical skills learned. While in your technical rotation program you will be considered a full-time regular employee of your assigned department and are eligible for Mitchell?s vacation and benefits.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education: B.S. or M.S. within Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other IT based knowledge
Knowledge, Skills & Experience: You have experience and exposure to C#, .net, SQL technologies or Java within your education.
Learns to use professional concepts. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Demonstrated leadership, people skills and high ethical standards.
A strong interest in Mitchell and our technologies.
Demonstrated analytical skills, technical expertise and business skills.
Outstanding academic achievements and relevant internship or work experience
Job Complexity: Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
Written Abilities: Proficient grammar, sentence structure and written communication skills.
