GENERAL DESCRIPTION of POSITION:

Position Title: Super Tech Ops/System Engineer

Company Our client provides search services that find information about people on the social web, on behalf of businesses and consumers. Top retailers, telcos, political organizations, hotel chains, social networks, and other consumer facing companies use our client's services to gain insight about their consumers and improve their consumers' experience. Our client is the brainchild of a a successful entrepreneur who sold his first three internet companies before the age of 30. Role: • Work closely with our senior systems administrator and engineering team. • Assist in managing our client's datacenter - install and upgrade machines, networking, etc. • Help with linux server administration.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Avid learner new technology and do so amazingly quick. • May not be experienced, but crave to learn more. • Some basic linux skills and want to learn more. • Dream of racks and racks of servers. • Quick learner and real doer; err on execution over strategy • Looks forward to working with A-players; too good to spend long hours with B-players • Should be easy to get along with, nice, fun, ethical, and low-maintenance • Desire to be an early employee and want to be a real owner in Rapleaf's future • Should want to live in or near San Francisco (relocation available if necessary)
