Bioengineering: Premedical (B.S.)

This curriculum is designed to meet the requirements for admission to medical schools and is also suitable for those planning to enter graduate school in bioengineering, physiology, neurosciences, or related fields. This program provides a quantitative understanding of the engineering design of the body, as well as certain technologies used in medical practice. It has less engineering content but more biological sciences and is one of many majors that can serve as preparation for further training in medical, veterinary, or allied health professions. Graduates of this program can also go on to work in industry.

Please note that all admitted students are placed in the pre-major and must complete screening requirements for admission to the major.
