Keynote Title: "Renewables and America's Energy Future"

Abstract
Today, about 10% of all electrical generation in the U.S. is from renewables, mostly from hydroelectric sources. A U.S. National Academies Panel found that, with a sustained effort, renewables could produce 20 percent of the nation's electricity generation by 2020 and 30 percent of electricity generation by 2030 - 2035. The major impediments to accomplishing this are issues related to deployment and integration.
