About the Speaker
Dr. Streit is responsible for the technology development required for
advanced semiconductors, microelectronics, radar, communication systems
and satellite payload electronics at Northrop Grumman Space Technology.
He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the
Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and a member of the
NASA Space Foundation Technology Hall of Fame. Dr. Streit earned his
Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los
Angeles in 1986, and was the UCLA Engineering Alumnus of the Year in
2003.
