Engineering Leadership Award Nominations

Undergraduate student nominations are based on experience in the university or engineering environments. Gordon Scholars can be nominated to be Gordon Fellows. Recent 2012 graduates, Think Tank attendees, and returning students are eligible for the student awards.

Graduate student nominations are based on experience in the university or engineering environments. Gordon Scholars can be nominated to be Gordon Fellows. Recent 2012 graduates, Think Tank attendees, and returning students are eligible for the student awards.

Professional nominations should be faculty or individuals working in industry, government or military.

High school student nominations are based in participation in the California State Summer School for Mathematics and Science (COSMOS) program at UC San Diego.

All those submitting a nomination for the Engineering Leadership Awards are required to do so online. Nominate today.

The nomination requirements include:

  1. Your name
  2. Your email address
  3. Name of the undergraduate, graduate, or professional being nominated
  4. Description of why your nominee should be considered for the Gordon Fellow Award, addressing their demonstrated excellence in the areas of leadership, engineering ability, communications skills and teamwork ability.
  5. Nominee's resume or CV (required for evaluation)
